The cleaning /caretaking contract for Beeding and Bramber Village Hall has become available. The contract is for up to 20hrs a week.  The Trustees are seeking an individual or company to fulfill the contract.

Events

Our Outdoor book sale on Saturday 23rd August raised £166.95.  Many thanks to all who provided cakes and preserves and lent a hand and, most of all, those who came and parted generously with their cash.  Owing to the Covid lock down the hall is now seriously in need of funds, so watch out for details of our other fundraising ideas.

The hall will be fully open for business from the first week in September and you can book space for your events and meetings via our brand new automated booking system.  Please see below for information on Covid 19 arrangements.

 

IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING COVID 19

The hall is currently open.  There are stringent guidelines in place regarding Covid 19, with which all users of the hall will need to be familiar.  Due to social distancing requirements the maximum number of attenders at any event in each of the rooms is as follows:

Main hall: 30

Large room:  13

Small room:  8

[NB:  The Government has now legislated that gatherings cannot exceed six people.  We will post further information here as it becomes available.]

Attenders at any event will need to pre-book their attendance in order to assess numbers and contact details of all attenders need to be recorded for track and trace purposes.

Hand sanitiser dispensers have been installed at each entrance to the hall and additional sanitiser and hand soap will be available in each of the two kitchens and the toilets.

Users are responsible for ensuring that all surfaces used are cleaned and sanitised both before and after use.  The Caretaker will also undertake a full clean at the end of each day.

A one way system will be in place in the corridors.  Please take note of the Entrance and Exit signs.
